Two (2) Outreach Officers
Core Function:
(1) Responsible for expanding and sustaining the
membership of JN+ and facilitating the strengthening
of support groups throughout the country.
(2) Responsible for capturing reports of HIV-related
stigma and discrimination and accepting attitudes
to persons living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
Minimum Requirements:
-
3-5 years experience in outreach,
education and sensitisation, especially at the
grassroots level

Diploma in public education,
health education, health promotion or other related
discipline.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
and Access Software

Good command of oral and written
English
-
Strong interpersonal skills
including flexibility and initiative, team-work
essential

Ability to meet deadlines,
often under difficult circumstances

Familiarity with issues surroundings
HIV/AIDS an asset
-
Willingness to work with Persons
Living with HIV/AIDS essential
